The Best Peanut Butter You’ll Ever Eat

I’ve really been enjoying making things from scratch recently, it’s so much more satisfying than buying them from the store.  Not to mention, it’s usually easier and healthier.

Peanut butter is one of the easiest things you could ever make, it almost feels like a rip-off to buy it from the store once you learn how to do it.  I’ve made it in a coffee grinder a few times (classiness personified right here), but this time I used a food processor.  I turned it on, let it rip for a few minutes and came back to a beautiful tub of peanut butter.

I used salted peanuts, which gives the peanut butter a VERY salty flavour.  If you like salt, go for it, but I recommend using unsalted peanuts.  It’s a bit too salty for me, but that’s what I get for accidently buying salted peanuts.  Other than that it’s up to you, roasted, unroasted, it all works.  Experiment and have fun are the only two rules.

Well, using a pretty jar also helps it taste better.  Fact.

What’s your favourite way to eat peanut butter?
